After 7 1/2 years I decided to return to Greece and this is not a decision I took lightly. AEL 1964 provided me with a chance to join a club run by young and ambitious people; a club that has good future prospects and aims high. I fully appreciate the opportunity and the responsibility and I look forward to helping the team realise its potential. I joined AEL knowing that I came to a club that has the same 'philosophy' I have about football and for me this is fundamental. I am also well-aware of the fans' love for their team. After so many years playing abroad I got used to playing in front of a full house and I am glad this will continue now that I have joined AEL.
