End of season
|
"3 points and 3 goals to close a rather difficult season for Newcastle. A lot of injuries during the year did not let Bobby Robson to choose the squad he would like for each game. It was very difficult season for me as well. Perhaps it was the most difficult one, as I had to face a very serious injury and not play for many months. Finally everything went very good and I manage to get back quicker than anticipated. I believe we did everything that we could to please our fans and ourselves as we did work very hard this season as we do every year. I hope that the next season will be much better than the one that just finished and that we manage to climb higher in the table compared to the position we finished now."
