Although our defense is getting better and better in the last games, unfortunately we were very unlucky in the last two away games. At Chartlon we conceived a goal 8 minutes before the end and we lost 2 points. Even worse we did not manage to qualify to the next round when we conceived a goal while being into the stoppage time. I was fairly confident that had we managed to get through Stamford Bridge we would had managed to get to the final. Unfortunately we did not manage to beat Chelsea.

Tomorrow we have a very difficult game as well. Blackburn is a good team and we will need to perform well if we want to win. We can not afford mistakes as they can costs too much at this stage. We only conceived 2 goals in the last two games, but the price to pay was really high.

I had a word with Bobby Robson about tomorrow's game and he said that he not use me or O'Brien against Blackburn in order to give one of us some time to rest. We have a very heavy schedule with some of the most difficult games of the season coming our way this month and we need to always have the big picture in our minds!
