Nikos was named the 8th best defender in the Premier League, according to the Opta Stats. After finding out about it he commented: "it has been a great season for everyone in the club, especially for the fans. My name being in the top 10 defender is just the icing of the cake and of course it feels great! I had my good and bad moments this year but overall I think that I did well and I hope our fans think the same. I can only wish that I will do even better next season, especially when we play for the Champions League".
