Leicester manager Craig Levein will be without defensive duo Nikos Dabizas and Darren Kenton for the clash with Millwall.
Full-back Kenton, who is on loan from Southampton, has been laid low by mumps, while centre-half Dabizas must serve a one-game ban - although the Greek is also carrying an ankle knock.
Jordan Stewart could be recalled after making a rapid recovery from a dislocated shoulder.
Meanwhile, long-term absentees Jason Wilcox and Nathan Blake - who have been sidelined by cruciate knee ligament and hamstring injuries respectively - have returned to full training, although this game will come too soon for the pair.
Millwall look certain to be without top scorer Barry Hayles for the trip.
Hayles, who has scored nine goals this term, misses the match with an ankle injury.
Player-manager Dennis Wise, who left Leicester in acrimonious circumstances after a short spell in 2002, could be on the substitutes' bench - despite not having recovered fully from a torn thigh muscle.
