Three weeks after the surgery, things are looking even better than initially expected. Although the surgeons had predicted a return for Nikos in about six months after the operation, his treatment is progressing so quickly and successfully that there are hopes for an even earlier return.
After a consultation with the medical team yesterday, it is estimated that Nikos is three weeks ahead in his program than they were expecting. In the next few days he is to start a more intense program. It will be approximately five hours long every day, involving treatment as well as physiotherapeutic exercises that will help him speed up his recovery and built his strength up again soon.
