A week full of international action!

A week full of international action!
A week full of international action! I was expecting the results of this week's games to put another piece to the qualifying puzzle, but it seems that they did exactly the opposite! Greece won a game and lost one while England got one point in two games. After Germany's win over England I believe, they stand the biggest chance to qualify as the first team to the World Cup. The question arising is who is going to be the second team?

Greece was very anxious in the first game, but eventually managed to win the game with one goal scored by Lymperopoulos. A second win would have meant a very important lead against the other teams in the group. Unfortunately for us the team had no luck at all. The score would have been 1-3 or even 1-4 if we had a bit more luck and some of the chances were transformed into goals. Of course that is what football is all about. You don't score goals you don't win.

After England's draw in Finland I believe that the road ahead will be very difficult for all of us, especially England and Greece, who I believe that have the most chances of qualifying. After the latest result it seems that the games between the two teams will be the most important games of the group.
