Two friendly games
|
Nikos played for Greece against Estonia on the 10th and Cyprus this week. In the first game the Greek National team won 4-2 while in the second they lost 1-2. Both games took place in Athens. After the game against Cyprus Nikos said: "We played very well in the previous game against Estonia and we scored 4 goals. Today things did not turn out as we had hoped. We had our chances, but unfortunately we did not convert them to goals. Especially if the penalty kick had been converted I believe the final score would had been different. It may had been a friendly game, but we all like to win each game so it was a bit disappointing to conceive a goal two minutes before the end. What is important though is the fact that our team's performance is getting better game by game. I hope it continues like this in the future games as well."
