| Nikos was very surprised to find out that he has scored more goals than every other defender in the club's history! Nikos' goal against Manchester United was his 13th goal. Albert had scored 12 goals while playing for Newcastle.
Nikos was extremely happy when he heard the news: "A record can be a couple of numbers, but it feels fantastic when you achieve one, because it is the outcome of your hard work. I am a defender and I do not get many chances to score a goal. Scoring 13 goals in 2 1/2 season does mean a lot for me. Last year I did not manage to score a single goal as I was injured for almost all the season. Now I am back in track and hope I will manage to double the 13 years in the seasons coming. Once more I would like to thank everyone for their support."
