| "It was a fair win for England. We were tired from the game against Albania and we had to play an even more difficult game after 3 days. Even worse we had quite a few problems with key players not being able to play either because of an injury or suspensions.
Still we tried to do whatever it was possible to get the 3 points and continue to hope for something good, but apparently our efforts were not enough. When Karagounis was substituted after 20 minutes in the game the challenge became even bigger. I also had an injury problem and had to use take 3 injections, one the day before the game, one before the game and one during half time, in order to be able to play.
The English side was better during most of the game's duration. Their moral was high especially after winning 4 games in a row. The new manager seems that made a big difference and gave them the motivation required as it is clear that the English squad has improved a lot since he undertook the post.
Our side has to go back and study all the mistakes we did. Most importantly we have to understand these mistakes and make sure we will not repeat them. I hope that in the future everyone will do what they have to do in order to help the National Team become more competitive. The fans must support the team, the federation should protect it, the players should try their best for it."
