Nikos: 34 was one of the available numbers which is the reason why I chose it. Nothing more than that! I am not superstitious, but of course I would not mind if we were always lucky!

Nikos: It is too soon to even start thinking about finishing my career. For the time being I am more than happy playing for United and I think this is what it really matters.

Nikos: Yes, I do see them when I go back! It always feels good to see the fans selecting your number on their back, as it means they appreciate your efforts.
Helen asked Nikos: Do you like the city of Newcaslte? If so, what is the best thing about the city?
Nikos: Newcastle is a great city to live in and is getting better and better! I really enjoy going for a coffee after training at the city centre coffee shops.

Nikos: It was fantastic. Scoring the only goal of the game made it even more special.

Nikos: This is not for me to judge. I just try to do the best for the team.

Nikos: Newcastle is a great club and the squad is getting better and better. Being in the premier league is competing at the highest level. Winning it though is a different thing and by any means not an easy task even for clubs like ManU.

Nikos: Alan is a great friend and footballer and everyone knows how devoted he is to the club. It is of a great importance to have a captain like Alan Shearer.

Nikos: NUFC is a big club as it has everything it is needed to be a big club. Still we have to prove in the pitch that we can be one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Nikos: I do not have someone in specific as a role model. I try to keep the good things from people and leave the bad behind rather than try to become someone else.
Ryan WIindsor asked Nikos: WIth you being my favourite defender, is it possible for you to stay at Newcastle for the remainder of your career?
Nikos: This is hard to say as you never know what will happen tomorrow. What I can definately say is that I am really happy playing for the club right now!
Cameron Pereira asked Nikos: Early last season, did you ever seriosly consider leaving the club, and why?
Nikos: It was quite clear that the manager at the time was not counting on me and hence I did not have a place in the team. It've always been happy at the club and never really considered leaving it.
Cameron Pereira asked Nikos: In your opinion, how should the defence line up with you out of action?
Nikos: This is a question that should be addressed to the coach. A player should just follow the instructions he was given.
FARHAN FARAH asked Nikos: How did it feel like to be the first nufc defender to score 3 goals in 3 consecutive games?
Nikos: It was really fantastic as I am a defender and I do not have many chances to score goals.

Nikos: This is a really difficult question as all of them are very good players. Unfortunately Georgiadis, who plays in the national team, did not have enough chances to prove himself.

Nikos: Every football team has 11 players. All of them have to do their best for the team to win.

Nikos: Newcastle United and the Premiership in general was a big challenge and a great opportunity to prove my capabilities.

Nikos: Georgiadis is one of the best players in Greece and being a key player for the national team is the best proof. I believe he was not given the chance to prove his abilities.

Nikos: Newcastle is one of the best cities I have ever been to. It played a great part in continuing my career here. Every place has something different to offer and that is what makes them special.

Nikos: Newcastle is one of the best cities I have ever been to. It played a great part in continuing my career here.
Alastair Cooper asked Nikos: Have you or can you play in any other positions except centre back or sweeper? Because you do score alot of goals for a centre back.
Nikos: Attack starts from the defenders and defense starts from the attackers. I am really happy when I score, but I am a defender not a striker.
Matthew Peake asked Nikos: I have been a big fan for a number of years and have been particularly impressed by your commitment during the dark times of Ruud Gullit. How did you keep your spirits up then and does the lack of commitment of other players (eg Marcelino) annoy you?
Nikos: I try to keep myself focused and ready to give my best to the team. A professional should always do that.

Nikos: Apart from my first game with NUFC I believe that the FA Final was a very special moment for me.

Nikos: The first time I played at St James Park was fantastic experience. Since then every game is exactly like the first one.

Nikos: Playing against teams like England and Germany has never been an easy thing. We will try our best and hope for the best.

Nikos: A bigger club means more effort and more work. I am not afraid of new challenges, but I am really happy and proud playing for NUFC.

Nikos: It is really difficult to say who is the best. Still what I can say is that I would not like to be Shearer's opponent!

Nikos: Keegan surely knows what is the best for the National Team, but I believe he is player of good quality.

Nikos: Coming to Newcastle was a very big step for me. Still I believe I have much more to offer both to the club and the National Team.
